Tips to make a prom flower

Prom flowers if chosen correctly can be a great enhancement to you

I pick up some articles to make your own corsage when I browse through the internet. I thought it was easy to follow and wish to summaries them for reading.

Preparation – go the your nearest florist to buy several stocks of corsage or boutonniere, stick pin and green colour tape. Get ready some basic tool like a pair scissors or pruner. Make sure you keep the corsage or boutonniere fresh by keeping them in a refrigerator or at least stay away from heat

Step to make a prom flower
1. Cut the stem of a corsage to a length about 2 inches. Then hold your corsage or boutonniere by its stem. With the flower facing away from your date, slightly angle the floral bouquet on his lapel.
2. Make sure the flower is evenly placed and centered on the lapel
3. Gripping a sturdy stickpin and stick the pin into the fabric at the bottom left corner of the stem.
4. Weave the pin back out from under the fabric. Push it through an inch, laying it at an angle over the top of the stem.
5. Stick the tip of the pin back into the fabric on the other side of the stem. Insure that the stem is tightly in place with the length of the pin pushing it down.
6. Weave the pin back out of the fabric again, making sure the tip of the pin does not stick out – or worse, poke your skin under the fabric!

If you follow the steps mentioned, you are on the way to make your first own corsage
